NEW SHELL FOR KAIAPOI CLUB
HPHE Cure Boating Club x has taken delivery of a new Best-and-Best four-oar shell and has on order a new Best-and-Best double scull pair-oar convertible, to be ready for the coming season. convertible rigging, which enables the bow'man and number two to row on either stroke or bow side, pitch adjustments on the oar swivels and seats fitted with continental type slide. The shell was landed at a cost of £387 15s plus customs duty of £B3. Other equipment owned by the club includes two plywood four-oar shells, two plywood pair-oar shells, one plywood single shell and new English oars and sculls to the value of £lBO.
