Big Migrant Batch
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 30. ■ Many British immigrants are expected to arrive in New Zealand within the next few months under “filler loading sponsorship," a new immigration scheme which has been introduced by the Department of Labour. An officer -of the department said the first arrivals in New Zealand under this new scheme were due about the middle of this week. There would also be a charter flight of 83 later in September.
