TWICE LUCKY

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, August 27. A London punter put the completed football pools coupon of one firm into the envelope of another—and nearly lost a £14,900 win. But he posted it early, and the firm which wrongly received it forwarded it on to the correct address. The coupon had to travel from London to a pools firm in.. Liverpool, 194 miles away, and be back again by Saturday morning to qualify. On Saturday night it was the first winning coupon opened by the London pools firm. The London firm said the winner was “Mr Lucky Londoner.” He wished to remain anonymous.
