Forbury Park Loss
The Forbury Park Trotting Club showed a loss of £428 on its year’s operations, according to the accounts which will be presented at the annual meeting on September 1. The loss is attributed to the cold weather experienced at the club’s two winter meetings in : May. Off-course betting rose during the season due to the fact that the club raced mid-week |on two occasions. The combined on and off-course turnover amounted to £1.279.185.1 an increase of £1755 10s over, the previous year.
