3 SQUASH TESTS
Australians To Tour The Australian men's squash rackets team, which will make a short tour of New Zealand next month will play the South Island at Christchurch on September 17. It will meet New Zealand in the second of three test matches at Timaru on Saturday, September 19. Other tests will be at Henderson, Auckland, after the national championships end on September 12, and at Palmerston North on September 21. Australia is expected to Send a strong team, and its appearance in Christchurch will be the highlight of the season, par Ocularly if it is headed by K C. Hiscoe, the Australian and former world amateur chamnion.
Australia is at present the leading squash nation, and its top players include several of the world’s leading amateurs.
