Temperatures Vary

After a frost of 12 degrees at Harewood and 11 degrees at the Botanic Gardens, temperatures recorded at Harewood yesterday rose sharply from 33 degrees at 9 a.m. to 54 degrees at midday. A maximum of 59 degrees was recorded at 2 p.m., but by 4 p.m. it had fallen again to 51 degrees. At the Botanic Gardens the temperature at 3 p.m was 53 degrees, which was still showing .P the Government Life Building at 4.30 p.m. There was a light variable wind throughout the day, with some very high cloud.
