Theological Bursaries
“1 doubt if any other church has so few bursaries for students,” the Rev. J. D. Grocott told the North Canterbury Methodist Synod yesterday. He urged Methodist people to make provision for such bursaries by gifts and in their wills. The synod decided to draw the attention of the Methodist Conference to the desirability of establishing bursaries *o help selected ministerial students undertake university courses before entering theological college.
