Discussion on the committee stages of the Private Savings Banks Bill and the Trustee Savings Banks Amendment Bill began yesterday. Papers tabled included the first report of the National Advisory Council on Teacher Training, and the annual reports of the Island Territories Department on the Cook,' Niue and Tokelau islands, the actuarial examination of the Government Superannuation Fund, the Oamaru Licensing Trust, and the Linen Flax Corporation.
