B.M.C. Output Up 15 p.c. . (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, August 24. The British Motor Corporation, which accounts for twofifths of the total. output of the British motor industry, today announced record production figures for the second successive; year.
The corporation produced 858,775 vehicles in the financial year ending last month—just under 15 per cent more than last year’s record figures. This included 320,181 vehicles produced for overseas customers.
The corporation said it envisaged promising prospects in the coming months.
