MEAT AND WOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

WELLINGTON, August 5. Results of elections of members to the electoral committee of the Meat and

Wool Boards were announced today. Ballots were necessary in six of the 23 districts. The successful candidates in the six districts were:— North and central Auckland: W. R. Martin (Ahuroa); south Auckland: W. D. Neal (Te Kuiti): Bay of Plenty: T. H. Worsp (Rotorua); Marlborough-Nelson: P. J. Cowin (Nelson); North Canterbury: R. E. Hiatt (Culverden); western Southland: C. J. Speight (Ohai). Candidates in the 17 districts where no ballot was necessary were declared elected in June.
