TECHNICAL RUNNERS are well on the way to completing their second season with an unbeaten record in colts (under 16) harrier racing. The club’s latest success was an overwhelming win in the Canterbury championships held on the property of Mr H. L. Spark, Ashley. This was the club’s fourth successive win. Much of the credit for the outstanding record of the Technical youngsters is attributable to the former New Zealand marathon representative, A. W. Richards, now a Canterbury selector, who is shown in the photograph talking with five of his successful team. They are from left: P. Bartlett, W. Lambeth, D. Armishaw, L. Cave and B. Chamberlain.
