Sarawak Aided
The curriculum research team provided by New Zealand was doing very valuable work in Sarawak schools, said Mr Lucien de Silva, Government librarian in Sarawak, in Auckland yesterday. He is here for three months to study the School Library Service with the view to setting up a similar organisation in Sarawak. Children in Sarawak had no books at home, few school libraries and no television, he said.—(P.A.)
