Injured Couple Improving

The condition of Mr and Mrs A. W. Hall, of No. 2 R.D., Whakatane, who were struck by a car on Monday evening in Moorhouse avenue, was reported by the Christchurch Hospital last night to be fairly satisfactory. and improving. The accident happened near Manchester street while the couple were crossing Moorhouse avenue after leaving the railway station. Mr Hall, aged 60, suffered a broken leg and arm, and head, back, and internal injuries. His wife had both legs broken.
