Sir Blue, graduated into open class at his sixth appearance when he wot the Tararua Hack Handicap at Awapuni on Saturdav. The three-year-old made bis debut in May and since then has won at Marton. Trent ham and Awapuni for bis owners. Messrs C. M. C. Derm®, a Feiiding farm® and G. L Lambert, a Feinting build®. Sir Blue, which has scored all three successes in deep going was purchased f® 220 evineas as a yearling but has rerouped his original outlay with £940 in stakes this winter. By Blue Coral from Karessa. herself a winner. Sir Blue was bred by M- T Walsh. Stratford. A Baber*hah mare. Karessa was from Mrttie. which won 17 races • nci-jding the Pearce and Shorts Handicaps at Trantham and the C. J. C. Selwyn Handicap in the 1930'5. Sir Blue is trained by W. L. Aitken.
