PHOSPHATE DISPUTE

Men Go Back To Work (N.Z. Press Association' INVERCARGILL. July 21. Work resumed at the Southland Co-operative Phosphate Company's Awarua works at 11 a.m. today after a meeting between representatives of the management and the Southland Freezing Workers' and Related Trades Union. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the district secretary of the Labour Department (Mr J. Michael), who said afterwards that all the differences had been resolved. The men went on strike yesterday. It is believed that they wanted incentive payments because of the overtime they were working.
