'While Taranaki's wet weather caused sour faces among Rugby supporters today, the Buller Rugby team, at New Plymouth to challenge for the Ranfurly SMeld on Wednesday, though differently. “Slud is a great leveller,” said the selector and coach of the Buller team, Mr D. Dickson, after Ms team had arrived by air from Westport. Rain continued to pour down today and there was not much doubt that Rugby Park would be muddy.
