Titleholder Wins Levin Tourney

Playing in wind and rain, the New Zealand amateur champion. J. D. Durry, won the Levin Golf Club’s 72-hole stroke tournament. Durry returned a card of 361 for the four rounds, five strokes ahead of T. S. Leech and J. D. Stern in equal second place. Only, two of 95 in the tournament equalled or bettered the par 73 for the Levin course. Durry scored a 73 on his second round and Leech a 72 on the same round. 301: J. D.
