ADMITTED AS SOLICITOR

Auckland Police Inspector (N.Z. Pre** Association) AUCKLAND. Julv 19. Inspector G. A. Dallow, tged 33, head of the anti-vice squad in Auckland, has been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court by Mr Justice Boys. Mr Dallow began studying law, part-time, at Auckland University seven years ago. He qualified last year. Mr Dallow was admitted on the motion of Mr C. W. E. Hough. Since joining the Police Force 15 years ago, Mr Dallow’s promotion has been rapid, but he has found time to study for police promotion examinations, as well as university examinations.

The last policeman to qualify in law in Auckland was Detective Superintendent A. C. Wade, the head of the prosecutions branch and now head of the Christchurch C. 1.8.
