No Offence Injured

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 19. Last year’s Grand National Steeplechase winner, No Offence, will not accept for the Homeby Steeplechase at the Christchurch Hunt Club meeting on Saturday. He was injured when he struck a board fence while competing at Trentham and is causing his trainer, M. N. Seal, of Otaki, “some concern.” No Offence’s condition is improving; though, according to Seal, and it is hoped to have him fit again for the Grand National meeting at Riccarton in a fortnight.
