BRADLEY DIVORCE

Decision By Wife

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, July 2. Mrs Magda Bradley, who arrived back in Australia from England yesterday, has told her kidnapper-killer husband, Stephen Leslie Bradley, that she intends to divorce him, the Sydney “Sun” said today. The newspaper said that Mrs Bradley wrote to her husband telling him this. Bradley, a prisoner in Goulburn’s maximum security gaol, took his wife’s letter calmly, the “Sun” said. No Blame

It reported that a recently released prisoner said Bradley told him: “I can’t blame her; what else could she do?” Bradley, who was convicted of the murder of the schoolboy, Graeme Thorne, was sentenced to life imprisonment three years ago. His papers were marked: “Never to be released.”
