13-8 Win For Thames Valley

TE AROHA, July 1.
Thames Valley followed its win over King Country on Saturday by defeating Bay of Plenty, 13-8, in a hard game today, At half-time Thames Valley led 5-3.
Thames Valley’s points came from tries by J. Mita and D. Mold, and a penalty goal by T. E. Shaw. P. E. Scott scored for Bay of Plenty and W. J. Potae converted and kicked a penalty goal.
LITTLE RIVER CLUB.— Bisque bogey: Mrs H. Lankow, 2 up; Mrs B. Turpin, 1 up, on a count-back from Mrs M. Wilkins, 1 up; Mrs R. Redford, all square.
CANTERBURY DISTRICT LADIES' ASSOCIATION.— IB Hole Competition—Zone I: Amberley beat Richmond Hill by one hole: Ranglora beat Hagley by 14 holes; Waimakariri Gorge beat Rawhitl. by five holes; Windsor beat Rassley by 11 holes; Kaiapol had a bye. Zone II: Greendale beat Hordrata by six holes; Christchurch beat Burnham by one hole; Templeton beat Waitlkiri by four holes; Tai Tapu beat Little River by 13 holes; Ellesmere beat Waimairi Beach by 19 holes.
