C.E. MEADS INJURED
Replaced In N.I. Team (K.Z. Press Association) ’ AUCKLAND, July 1. C. E. Meads, the King Country and All Black forward, has withdrawn from the North Island team to play .South Island at Auckland on Saturday because of a foot injury. He has been replaced by B. J. Lochore (Wairarapa). K. A. Nelson (Auckland) will take Lochore’s original position in- the back of the scrum.
Meads broke the little tbe of his left foot In a club match on June 20 and played, with some discomfort, for King Country against Thames Valley last Saturday.
Nelson has recovered from a rib injury which prevented him from playing for Auckland against . Counties at Papakura on Tuesday.
