LL.O. Proposal On S. Africa (N.Z. P. A.-Reuter —Copyright» GENEVA, June 29 Drastic economic and diplomatic sanctions against South Africa are called for in proposals tabled at the International Labour Conference.

The proposals, supported by Afro-Asian countries and Communist delegations, were presented by the Ukraine as an amendment to the draft 1.L.0. declaration bn apartheid now being studied by a 75-man committee. The amendment calls on member states to break off or not establish diplomatic relations with South Africa, close ports to ships flying the South African flag, prohibit their ships from entering South African ports, boycott South African goods and stop exports, including arms to South Africa, and refuse landing and passage facilities to South African Government and private aircraft.
