"I Wanna Wash Your Arm’

(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 25. Four Lower -Hutt schoolgirls who arrived for classes today with Ringo Starr’s autograph written on their arms were ordered to the wash room.

There Ringo dissolved in a swirl of suds. Authorities at Chilton St James’ School, Lower Hutt confirmed yesterday that the four girls,

who obtained the prized autograph after slipping past Hotel St George security men and gaining the Beatles* sixth floor suite, had been divested of their badges of victory. They were also told individually that their action was a disgrace to the school, and each was ordered to write a letter of apology to the school board.
