N.C.C. WOMEN’S COMMITTEE
• Mrs J. R. Maddren, of Christchurch, who is now oh a world tour, was elected president of the women’s committee of the National Council of Churches of New Zealand yesterday.
Other officers are as follows:. vice-president and secretary, Mrs R. H. T. Hamilton; treasurer, Mrs H. Matthews; assistant secretary, Mrs M. W. Wilson; minute secretary, Miss J. Morland; executive, Mesdames R. M. Rogers (ex-chairman), E. R. Mangin (convener of World Day of Prayer, committee), and Mrs W. Merlin Davies (convener of literature committee). . All are of Christchurch, where the National Council of Churches has its headquarters: I
