No Landings At Mangere
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 22. The district Commissioner of Works (Mr O. W. McKinnon) today denied reports that preparations were being made to enable emergency landings to take place at Mangere Airport. “We are looking ahead and finding out what we would need to do if certain circumstances arose, but there is no intention of making arrangements for emergency landings at Mangere,” he said.
