In a clash of the two top teams, Riccarton defeated Wanderers, 1-0, and moved to the head of the second division soccer table. It is now the only club with a 100 per cent record after three rounds. Shirley 8.H.5.0.8. and High School 0.8. also moved ahead of Wanderers. The points are: Riccarton 6, Shirley 8.H.5.0.8,, H. 5.0.8. 5, Wanderers 4, Waterside 2, Celtic, Lincoln College 1, Hornby United 0.
