Postponement Until Friday
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright)
SYDNEY, April 1
A conference between the Minister for National Development (Senator Sir William Spooner) and oil refining companies to discuss the sale of Moonie oil, has been postponed until Friday.
The conference has been postponed for two days because representatives of some oil companies said it was impossible for them to attend today.
Offer Accepted
On March 22, the Senator announced that the Shell Oil Company had accepted an offer by Union-Kern-A.O.G. to sell 25 per cent of Moonie oil at 2.83 dollars a barrel. He said he expected other Australian refiners to accept their share of Moonie crude oil on the same basis and called the conference to discuss the sale of the remainder of the output.
