Woman Killed In Collision
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, March 26. A woman was killed and two men were injured—one seriously—when two cars collided head-on at 5.10 p.m. on Wednesday on the No. 1 State Highway, one mile south of the Rotorua intersection near Putaruru. The woman was: Mrs Margaret Winsome Adamson, aged 47, of 50 Seaview road, Tauranga. The seriously injured man, Mr Frank Mitchell, aged 23, a milk bar proprietor of Christchurch, is in the Waikato Hospital with multiple fractures.
