FUNDS £2m
Distribution Of Surplus (X.Z. Press Association! WESTPORT, March 24. The United Ancient Order of Druids, which has accumulated funds amounting to £2 million, mainly in investments, would probably distribute £300.000 in surplus funds to member lodges at the conference in Hamilton next year, the grand president for New Zealand (Mr A. E. Waterhouse). of Hastings, said in ■Westport. The Order ended its conference in Westport yesterday.
The United Order was a benefit society founded in Britain in the late 1700 s and spread throughout the Com- ’ monwealth.
