Undefeated In Water Polo
Beckenham has won this season’s senior A water polo competition in Christchurch. The side won 12 successive games and drew the last, with Wharenui, to finish the season undefeated. Other placings in the senior A competition were: Wharenui 2, University 3, Christchurch and Elmwood (equal) 4. The senior B competition was won by Air Force (Wigram). Fendalton and Beckenham tied for second place. Wharenui A won the junior competition.
