UNIVtItSITY VACANCin THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY Postgraduate Scholarships Graduates with capacity for research who wish to proceed to the degree of Pb.D. are invited to apply for scholarships tenable in either the Institute of ’ Advanced Studies, which is composed of the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research Schools of Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Pacific Studies, or the School of General Studies, in which there are Faculties of Arts, Economics, Law, Oriental Studies and Science. A scholarship is awarded initially for, two years, but nermallv will be extended for the.'*whole period of the course, usually three years.
