Rural Science or Agricultural Science for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the Department of PhysiologyThe Department teaches in the Faculties ,of Scjence. and Rural Science to post-graduate level. The successful applicant would be expected- to continue his own line of research or to Join one of the existing units. Ruminant physiology, environmental physiology'and genetic and biochemical aspects of adaptation are the major research interests in the Department at present. RESEARCH FELLOW IN PHYSIOLOGY Applicants are invited from graduates in Animal Husbandry, Science; Veterinary Science, Rural or Agricultural Science for the position of Research Fellow in- the Department <rt Physiology. The successful' applicant would be required to assist in the current programme on the significance of biochemical and physiological individuality in sheep and/or cattle in relation to the animal industries. Work is in progress on genetic aspects of adaptation of animals to environmental conditions and on the physiological factors involved therein. The position is initially tenable for three years but may be extended to five. CONDITIONS OF- APPOINTMENT: Commencing salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience in the ease of each of the above mentioned appointments.
