Leadership Camp

A leadership course camp, organised by the Young Women’s Christian Movetnent, is being held this weekend at Spencerville Park. The camp, which is being attended by 15 girls between 13 and 16 years .of -age, is the first in a series, said the general secretary of the Christchurch Y.W.C-A. (Miss L. M. Scott). Miss J. Sewell, of the Christchurch Y.W.C.A., and Miss E. Winter, who has recently completed a leadership course with the Youth Committee of the National Council of Churches in Christchurch, are giving the instruction at the camp. Mrs A. R. Fiddes and Mrs L. R. Hansen are assisting in the running of the camp.
