MR J. E. MOFFITT

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 16. The All Black test lock against the 1921 Springboks, Mr James E. Moffitt, died at Auckland yesterday. He was 72. Earlier, Mr Moffitt had toured England and South Africa with the New Zealand Army team, and Australia with the 1920 All Blacks. He was an outstanding Wellington representative from 1910 to 1924. In all he played for Wellington in 46 representative matches. He also played for the North Island in 1920 and 1921.
