NEWSPAPER TALKS

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 15. Discussions are proceeding between the Wellington Publishing Company, Ltd., proprietors of the “Dominion,” and News, Ltd., of Adelaide. The board of the Wellington Publishing Company said tonight the discussions could be “most important for the future welfare of the company.” It was hoped a further announcement would be possible this week, the board said.

It repeated earlier advice that in the meantime shareholders should not dispose of their shares.
