LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Presentation Of Reports Thanks from the Save the Children Fund far a consignment of used clothing sent to Italy was received by the Canterbury League of Mothers at their first quarterly meeting for the year, held on Thursday. Delegates from all city branches, and Waimate, attended. Mrs W. H. Harvey (provincial president) presided. Branch presidents presented reports. It was decided to hold a combined church service in the near future. Members of the Hoon Hay branch were hostesses at a buffet lunch after the meeting.
