Difference Not Seen (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 12. A woman carried out an experiment by smearing one •ide only of her face with beauty aids for 10 months. But when she asked a group of women to spot the difference only half chose the right •ide, the “Daily Telegraph” reported. The woman wrote of her experiment in the Oxford Consumers’ Group’s newsletter. She said she had used four preparations recommended for her skin. After 10 months of applying them to only one side of her face most people could see no difference. Then she asked a group of 29 women to pick the right side Twelve chose the wrong •ide and two said they did not know.
