NEW ATTACK DENIED

Mr Marshall’s Health (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 12. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) today denied reports that the Deputy-Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) had suffered a new and dangerous heart attack in Teheran. The last cable received from Teheran on Mr Marshall’s condition said he was making satisfactory progress, he said. The cable was sent from Teheran at 9 p.m. last night and was received here this morning. The “Daily Telegraph” report said the new attack occurred on Tuesday. The cable read: “Latest report on Mr Marshall reassuring. Progress most satisfactory.” It was signed by Mr Foss Shanahan, Deputy-Secretary for External Affairs.
