Bread Subsidy
Sir, —The recommendation to abolish the subsidy on bread is, I feel, an excellent one. There is far too much wastage of bread, especially by those who can afford to waste, and those who cannot do liot anyway, so there is not likely to be any great hardship.—Yours, etc., WAISTLESS.
