SANATORIUM REUNION

Plans For 50th Anniversary

Functions to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Coronation Hospital, in September this year, were decided by a meeting of former staff and patients, held in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church hail. Committees to deal with all branches of the reunion were elected. • An afternoon gathering will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 5. A buffet , tea will be held at 6.30 that evening. Both functions will be held at the Middle Sanatorium.

On Sunday,' September 6, a church parade will be held, at a place to be decided. .

Officers elected • were:— Chairman, Mr A. Mayell; secretary, Miss M. Thompson. Committees elected were: Publicity.—Chairman, Miss M. Thompson; committee, Mesdames V. Pierson, L. Carlisle, Misses B. Sullivan, L. Potter and Mr R. Hubbard.

Entertainment And Hos-' pitality.—-Chairman, Mr C. Rattray; committee, Mesdames J. Hopkins, A. Flaws, M. Costley. Misses I. Wheatley. J. Dauber, M. Thompson. J. Phillips, G. Owen and'Mr A. Mintrom.

Finance.—Chairman, Mr A. ■Mintrom; committee, Mrs J. Kirton, Messrs J. Cross and J. Chittenden.
