Diplomatic Tie Considered

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyrlght) KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 18.

The establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Russia was raised in Bangkok last week. The Malaysian Government confirmed today that Russia had made an unofficial approach to Malaysia for the exchange of diplomatic missions.

Until now both Russia and China . have denounced the Malaysian Federation and have supported Indonesia in their dispute. Malaysia, formed last October, has no diplomatic relations with any Communist country.
