Decision On Mill Soon
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 17. A decision on the future of the buildings planned for the Nelson cotton mill before the scheme was abandoned should be made “within a short while,” said the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) at his press conference tonight. ■ He had been asked to comment on a statement by the chairman of directors of Standard-Triumph (New Zealand), Ltd. (Sir Leonard Isitt) that discussions on the u?e of the buildings for motor-car assembly were to take place between the Governmeht and the company this week.
