MATCHES AT MALVERN
Wright’s 4th Century A splendid 115 by G. T. Wright, his fourth century this season, placed Kirwee in a strong position against Darfield in the Malvern senior cricket competition. Wright batted Very forcibly and ably assisted by D. Gunn helped Kirwee to a first innings total of 334. Accurate bowling by G. Ridgen, who took six for 62, gave Greendale a fine chance to lead Hororata, the leading team. The team which wins this match is virtually assured of the championship. Scores:—
