Fined £50 For Throwing Knife

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, February 14. James Lilburn Beall, aged 17, a freezing worker, was fined £5O, costs 30s, by Mr W. A. Harlow, SM., in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier today on a charge of assaulting William Thompson, aged 16, with intent to injure. Beall had admitted throwing a knife at Thompson, inflicting a cut in an armThe Magistrate ordered that £lO of the fine should go to Thompson.
