Struck By Car On Motorway (N.Z. Preu Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 16. A young man was killed early this morning when he was struck by a car on the southern motorway about a quarter of a mile north of the Papatoetoe turn-off. He was: Ronald Keith McCann, aged 21, single, a farmhand, of 78 Lome street, Morrinsville. He was employed at Clevedon. J 0 1? <n accident occurred about 1215 a .m after the car m which Mr McCann and a friend were driving broke down. repairing the car Mr McCann stepped on to the motorway and was hit by a passing pgr.
