FAILED TO TAKE BEND

Car Runs Through Two Felices A oar which failed to take a bend when travelling down Dyers Pass road about 11.10 am. on Saturday, crashed through a safety fence, nan over the footpath, went through a concrete fence, and came to rest on iits side in the front garden of Mr J. Johnstone, at 12 Dyers Pass road.

The driver, Cyril Campbell Steel, of 1198 Haekittome road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with minor head injuries and lacerations. The car was extensively damaged. Mrs Johnstone was standing at the gate of her home at the time and had to get out of the way quickly to avoid being run down.
