£176.8m Classification For Six Months Goods to the ■ value of £176.8m, including cost, insurance. and freight, were imported during the six months ended December. 1963. according to information released yesterday by the Government Statistician (Mr J. V. T. Baker). Of the total value of imports £ 134.7 m (76.2 per cent) was imported under authority of import licensing schedules, £25.5m (14.4 per cent) was imported as goods exempt from licence, £ 13.2 m (7.4 percent) as Government imports, and £3.5m (2 per cent) under no-remittance schemes..
