Threw Knife At Youth
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Feb. 12.
James Lilburn Beall, aged 17, freezing worker, of Hastings, admitted in' the Napier Magistrate’s Court this afternoon that he threw a knife at another youth, causing an inch deep cut in an arm, at the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Meat Company, Ltd.’s Whakatu freezing works this morning.
Beall pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting William Thompson, aged 16, with intent to injure him. Mr W. A. Harlow, S.M.. convicted Beall and remanded him in custody till Friday for sentence.
