It was decided that all open Sunday tournaments for 1964 be restricted to those held at Kearneys road on a 50-50 basis with the association. An open tournament is defined as one consisting of more than 20 teams. '
This system will help the association to pay off the amount owing on the hall, and all clubs were asked to give this full support. A recommendation for the incoming committee was that Canterbury championships and official fixtures be held on the last week-end of each month.
